Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on Several State Highways for
Maintenance Operations in the Philadelphia Region

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state highways in
the
Philadelphia region, for pavement patching, deck repair and crack sealing
operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)
announced
today.
The work schedule, which is weather dependent, is:
• Monday, April 3, and Tuesday, April 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
intermittent
lane restrictions are scheduled on eastbound and westbound U.S. 30 Bypass
between Route 10 (Octorara Trail) and U.S. 202 in Sadsbury, Valley, West
Brandywine, Caln, East Caln and West Whiteland townships, Chester County,
for
pavement patching;
• Monday, April 3, through Thursday, April 6, from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the
ramp
from Columbus Boulevard at Lombard Circle to northbound Interstate 95 is
scheduled to close in Philadelphia, for deck repairs. Columbus Boulevard
motorists will be detoured over Washington Avenue or Race Street to reach
northbound I-95; and
• Monday, April 3, through Friday, April 7, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions are scheduled on northbound Interstate 476 between Route 3
(West
Chester Pike) and U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) in Marple, Haverford and
Radnor
townships, Delaware County, for crack sealing.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work
zones.
