DELCORA Planning 24-Hour Lane Closure on Route 291 (4th Street) for Utility Improvement in Delaware County

King of Prussia, PA – Delaware County Regional Water Authority (DELCORA) is planning a 24-hour lane closure on Route 291 (4th Street) between Harrah's Boulevard and Saville Avenue in City of Chester and Eddystone Borough, Delaware County, beginning at 9:00 AM on Monday, June 1, through Wednesday, June 17, for utility repair, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.

DELCORA will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit. For a list of all utility work and other construction projects impacting state-owned highways in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties, visit our District 6 Traffic Bulletin.
