SEPTA to Close JFK Boulevard Beginning May 10 for Bridge Rehabilitation in Philadelphia

King of Prussia, PA – SEPTA is planning to close JFK Boulevard between Market Street and 30th Street in Philadelphia beginning Sunday, May 10 for bridge rehabilitation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. Weather permitting, the closure will be in place 24/7 through Saturday, August 22.

During construction, JFK Boulevard motorists will be directed to use either Market Street and 30th Street or Market Street, Schuylkill Avenue, Arch Street and 30th Street.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the construction zone because slowdowns and backups will occur.
