Travel Restrictions Next Week Philadelphia Region for Overhead Sign
Structure Inspections

Travel restrictions are scheduled in the Philadelphia region next week for
overhead sign structure inspections, the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.

Weather permitting, the overhead sign inspection schedule is:

• On Monday, June 6, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, one lane will be closed on
Business U.S. 30 east and west at U.S. 202 in East Whiteland and West
Whiteland, Chester County;
• On Monday, June 6, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, one lane will be closed on
Route
100 south between U.S 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and Pottstown Pike in West
Goshen
Township, Chester County;
• On Tuesday, June 7, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, one lane will be closed on
U.S.
202 north between Cedar Hollow Road and Chesterbrook Boulevard in
Tredyffrin
Township, Chester County;
• On Tuesday, June 7, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, one lane will be closed on
U.S.
202 north at Business U.S. 30 in West Whiteland Township, Chester County;
• On Tuesday, June 7, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, one lane will be closed on
Swedesford Road between Route 29 (Moorehall Road and Route 401 (Conestoga
Road)
in East Whiteland Township, Chester County;
• On Tuesday, June 7, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, one lane will be closed on
U.S
202 south between Boot Road and Paoli Pike in West Goshen Township, Chester

County;
• On Wednesday, June 8, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, one lane will be closed on

Route 63 east (Woodhaven Road) between Millbrook Road and Interstate 95 in
Philadelphia and Bensalem Township, Bucks County;
• On Wednesday, June 8, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, one lane will be closed on

U.S. 13 north (Bristol Pike) between Biddle Lane and Claremont Avenue in
Bensalem Township, Bucks County;
• On Wednesday, June 8, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, one lane will be closed on

U.S. 13 south (Bristol Pike) between Claremont Avenue and Biddle Lane in
Bensalem Township, Bucks County;
• On Thursday, June 9, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, one lane will be closed on
I-95
south between Route 413 (Veterans Highway) and Business U.S. 1 in Bensalem
Township; Bucks County;
• On Friday, June 10, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, one lane will be closed on
U.S.
1 north and south between Rockhill Drive and Old Lincoln Highway in
Bensalem
Township, Bucks County;
• On Friday, June 10, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, one lane will be closed on
I-95
north between Business U.S. 1 and Route 413 (Veterans Highway) in Bensalem
Township; Bucks County; and
• On Friday, June 10, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, one lane will be closed on
Business U.S. 1 north and south between Durham Road and Veterans Highway in

Middletown Township, Bucks County.

The inspections are part of PennDOT's program to inspect sign structures at

least once every two years. The inspections ensure the safety and overall
condition of the structures.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by
