Chester Water Authority to Close Blue Ball Avenue in Upper Chichester

The Chester Water Authority will close Blue Ball Avenue between Scott
Avenue
and Columbia Avenue in Upper Chichester Township, Delaware County, for two
months, beginning Monday, September 12, for water main installation, the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced. Blue
Ball
Avenue will be closed through Friday, November 18.
During construction, Blue Ball Avenue through traffic will be detoured over
Chichester Avenue and Columbia Avenue. Local access will be maintained up
to
the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when
traveling
through the area.
The Chester Water Authority will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway
Occupancy Permit.
