Travel Restrictions Scheduled in Philadelphia and Delaware County

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced
that
travel restrictions are scheduled in Philadelphia and Delaware County for
bridge inspections, installation of overhead message board installation and
pavement restoration.
The work schedule is:
• On Saturday, September 17, and Sunday, September 18, the westbound
Interstate
76 exit ramp to 30th Street Station (Exit 345) will be closed in
Philadelphia
for a bridge inspection, Motorists will be detoured over Interstate 676
east,
23rd Street, Market Street and Schuylkill Avenue;
• On Monday, September 19 to Sunday, September 25, from 12:00 AM to 5:00
AM,
the northbound right lane will be closed on Interstate 95 between Route 420
and
Route 291 in Tinicum Township, Delaware County, for overhead message board
installation;
• On Monday, September 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the eastbound right
lane
will be closed on I-76 between I-676 and South Street in Philadelphia for a
bridge inspection;
• On Wednesday, September 21, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the southbound right
lane will be closed on Henry Avenue between Gates Street and Valley Avenue
in
Philadelphia for a bridge inspection;
• On Wednesday, September 21, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, the southbound right
lane will be closed on Henry Avenue between East Cathedral Road and Port
Royal
Avenue in Philadelphia for a bridge inspection. The left lane will be
closed
from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM; and
• On Saturday, September 24, and Saturday, October 1, from 6:00 AM to 2:00
PM,
the center and left lanes will be closed on the Betsy Road Bridge ramp to
southbound I-95 in Philadelphia for pavement restoration.
