Route 63 (Red Lion Road) in Lower Moreland Township to Close for Rail
Crossing Replacement by SEPTA

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) will close
Route
63 (Red Lion Road) between Dale Road and Philmont Avenue in Lower Moreland
Township, Montgomery County, from 9:00 AM Monday, October 3, to 7:00 PM
Friday,
October 7, for the replacement of its railroad crossing, the Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.
During the five-day operation, Route 63 (Red Lion Road) through traffic
will be
detoured over Philmont Avenue and Pine Road. Local access will be
maintained up
to the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when
traveling through the area.
Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by
visiting
www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides
traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and
access
to more than 770 traffic cameras.
