Pennsylvania American Water to Close Main Street Weekdays in Parkesburg
Borough, Chester County for Utility Installation

Pennsylvania American Water is scheduled to close Main Street weekdays
between
Culvert Street and Bridge Street in Parkesburg Borough, Chester County,
beginning Monday, October 3, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, for water and sewer
installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today
announced. The weekday closure of Main Street will be in effect Mondays
through
Fridays from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, through the end of April 2017.
During construction, Main Street through traffic will be detoured over
Strasburg Road, Limestone Road and McCalls Ferry Road.
Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are
advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.
Pennsylvania American Water will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway
Occupancy Permit.
Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by
