I-95, U.S. 1 and U.S. 30 Lane Closures Scheduled Next Week for Large Sign
Maintenance in the Philadelphia Region

Lane closures are scheduled next week on several state highways throughout
Philadelphia, Chester and Montgomery counties, including Interstate 95, U.S
1
and U.S. 30, for large sign maintenance, the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, February 19, through Thursday, February 22, from 9:00 PM to 5:00
AM,
lane closures are scheduled on northbound I-95 between the Route 611 (Broad

Street) and Interstate 76 East/Packer Avenue interchanges in Philadelphia;
• Monday, February 19, through Thursday, February 22, from 9:00 PM to 5:00
AM,
lane closures are scheduled on northbound U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Expressway)
between
the Route 611 (Broad Street) and Ninth Street interchanges in Philadelphia;
• Monday, February 19, through Thursday, February 22, from 9:00 PM to 5:00
AM,
lane closures are scheduled on northbound U.S. 202 between the Boot Road
and
U.S. 30/Frazer interchanges in West Whiteland Township, Chester County;
• Monday, February 19, through Friday, February 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
lane closures are scheduled on U.S. 30 between the Business U.S. 30
(Lancaster
Avenue) Interchange and U.S. 202 North in West Whiteland Township, Chester
County;
• Monday, February 19, through Friday, February 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
lane closures are scheduled on the U.S. 30 West on-ramp from U.S. 202 South
in
East Whiteland Township, Chester County; and
• Monday, February 19, through Friday, February 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
lane closures are scheduled on Route 363 (Trooper Road) between U.S. 422
and
Audubon Road in West Norriton Township, Montgomery County.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Under this improvement project, PennDOT is replacing and repairing large
sign
structures, including overhead signs throughout Bucks, Chester, Delaware,
Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.

Work on the entire project is expected to be completed in August 2019.

J. D. Eckman, Inc., of Atglen, Chester County is the general contractor on
the
$2,796,024 project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
