PennDOT Reopens Lungren Road Culvert in Middletown Township, Delaware
County

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) reopened the
culvert
carrying Lungren Road between Lenni Road and Parkmount Road in Middletown
Township, Delaware County.
Over the last several weeks, PennDOT's contractor performed repairs on the
six-foot long culvert which had been closed since December 15, 2017, when
damage was discovered to the structure. Lungren Road carries an average of
1,474 vehicles per day.
J.D. Eckman, Inc., of Atglen, Chester County, was the general contractor on
the
project.
