I-95 North Ramp to I-476 North to Close Monday Night

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced
that
the Interstate 95 north ramp to Interstate 476 north and MacDade Boulevard
will
be closed and detoured from 9:00 PM Monday, May 9, to 5:00 AM Tuesday, May
10,
for resurfacing.
This overnight operation is weather dependent.
During the ramp closure, northbound I-95 motorists wanting to access
northbound
I-476 and MacDade Boulevard will continue traveling north and exit at the
Ridley Park (Exit 8) Interchange. From the off-ramp, drivers will turn left
onto Stewart Avenue, left at the ramp to I-95 south, and follow I-95 south
to
the ramp for I-476 north and MacDade Boulevard.
This operations are part of the $2,087,000 project to improve travel
through
the I-95/I-476 Interchange. Tony DePaul and Sons of Blue Bell, Montgomery
County, is the general contractor on the contract, which is financed with
90
percent federal and 10 percent state funds.

visiting

traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and
access
to more than 770 traffic cameras.
