Travel Restrictions Next Week in Bucks and Chester Counties for Overhead
Sign Structure Inspections

Travel restrictions are scheduled in Bucks and Chester counties next week
for
overhead sign structure inspections, the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.
Weather permitting, the overhead sign inspection schedule is:
• On Monday, May 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the right lane will be closed
on
U.S. 1 north between Business U.S. 1 and Interstate 95 interchanges in
Middletown Township, Bucks County;
• On Monday, May 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the right lane will be closed
on
U.S. 1 south between I-95 and Rockhill Road interchanges in Middletown
Township, Bucks County;
• On Monday, May 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the left lane will be closed
on
U.S. 1 north between Old Lincoln Highway and Route 132 (Street Road)
interchanges in Bensalem Township, Bucks County;
• On Monday, May 23, and Tuesday, May 24, the right lane will be closed on
U.S.
13 (Bristol Pike) between Edgely Road and the Pennsylvania Turnpike in
Bristol
Township, Bucks County;
• On Tuesday, May 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the right lane will be
closed on
Route 611 Bypass north between Main Street and State Street interchanges in
Doylestown Township, Bucks County;
• On Tuesday, May 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the right lane will be
closed on
Route 611 Bypass south between State Street and U.S. 202 interchanges in
Doylestown Township, Bucks County;
• On Wednesday, May 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the right lane will be
closed
on, U.S. 202 north between Route 29 and Route 252 interchanges in
Tredyffrin
Township, Chester County; and
• On Wednesday, May 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the right lane will be
closed
on, U.S. 202 south between Chesterbrook Boulevard and Route 29 interchanges
in
Tredyffrin Township, Chester County.
The overhead sign structure inspections are part of PennDOT's program to
inspect signs structures at least once every two years. The inspections
ensure
the safety and overall condition of the structures.

visiting
