Travel Restrictions Scheduled on I-676 in Philadelphia and Arman Hammer
Boulevard in Montgomery County for Bridge Inspections

Travel restrictions are scheduled on Interstate 676 in Philadelphia and
Armand
Hammer Boulevard in Montgomery County, over the next week for bridge
inspections, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today
announced.
Weather permitting, the bridge inspection schedule is:
• On Tuesday, May 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the right lane will be
closed on
eastbound I-676 between 16th Street and 10th Street and in Philadelphia;
• On Tuesday, May 17 and Wednesday, May 18, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the
right
lane will be closed on westbound I-676 between 10th Street and 16th Street
in
Philadelphia; and
• On Friday, May 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, one lane will be closed on
Armand
Hammer Boulevard between Industrial Highway and Medical Drive in Lower
Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County.
Motorists are advised to allow additional time for travel where the
inspections
take place. The inspection schedules are dependent on the weather.
The bridge inspections are part of PennDOT's program to inspect state
bridges
at least once every two years. The inspections ensure the safety and
overall
condition of the structures.

access
to more than 770 traffic cameras.
