Aqua Pennsylvania to Restrict Two State Highways in Delaware County for
Water Main Improvements

Aqua Pennsylvania is planning weekday travel restrictions on Manchester
Avenue
and Baltimore Pike in Delaware County, for water main installations, the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.
Weather permitting, the work schedule is:
• Wednesday, January 18, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are
scheduled on Manchester Avenue between Radnor Street and Wallingford Avenue
in
Nether Providence and Upper Providence townships and Media Borough. Traffic
will be controlled by flagging; and
• Thursday, January 19, and Friday, January 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
lane
restrictions are scheduled on Baltimore Pike between Edgmont Street and
Radnor
Street in Media Borough. Traffic will be controlled by flagging.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these
areas.
Aqua Pennsylvania will complete both projects under a PennDOT Highway
Occupancy
Permit.
