Aqua Pennsylvania to Restrict Two State Highways in Delaware and Montgomery
Counties for Water Main Installations

Aqua Pennsylvania is planning weekday travel restrictions on U.S. 1
(Township
Line Road) in Delaware County, and Swedeland Road in Montgomery County, for

water main installations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation
(PennDOT) today announced.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, January 30, and Tuesday, January 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
lane
restrictions are scheduled on U.S. 1 (Township Line Road) at Alexander Road
in
Upper Darby Township, Delaware County. Traffic will be controlled by
flagging;
and
• Monday, February 13, through Friday, March 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
Swedeland Road is scheduled to close between Trinity Road and Holstein Road
in
Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County. During the weekday closure,
Swedeland
Road motorists will be detoured over Trinity Road and Holstein Road.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work

areas. Aqua Pennsylvania will complete these improvement projects under a
PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
