Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on Route 309 and U.S. 422 in
Montgomery County for Maintenance Operations

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced
that
travel restrictions are scheduled next week on Interstate 76 and Route 309
in
Montgomery County for sweeping, debris removal and patching operations.
The work schedule, which is weather dependent, is:
• Tuesday, January 17 through Thursday, January 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
intermittent lane closures are scheduled on northbound and southbound Route
309
between Cheltenham Avenue and Route 63 (Welsh Road) in Cheltenham,
Springfield,
Upper Dublin and Lower Gwynedd townships, for sweeping and debris removal;
and
• Tuesday, January 17, through Friday, January 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
intermittent lane closures are scheduled on eastbound and westbound U.S.
422
between the Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) and Route 363 (Trooper Road)
interchanges in Lower Providence, Upper Providence, Limerick, Lower
Pottsgrove
townships, for patching.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work
zones.
