Key Updates: Rainfall amounts for most of the county are expected to be between 1-1.25". High Wind Warning has been issued of all of Chester County until 7 pm with on Monday, January 23rd, 2017. Winds are East at 20-30mph with gusts from 50-60 knots possible. Chester County Forecasted Conditions: · Rain is expected to continue into Tuesday Midday · Today winds from the East around 20-30mph with gust to 60 knots. Winds will gradually decrease in the evening hours. · Precipitation: 1 – 1.25 inches of rain predicted for the county · Active watches & warnings: Chester County is under a High Wind Warning Impacts: · Strong winds may blow down limbs, trees, and power lines. Isolated power outages are likely. Strong winds can make it difficult to drive, especially high profile vehicles. Light weight objects like trash cans and patio furniture should be secured. Recommended Preparedness Actions: · Follow the NWS and local weather forecasts for the latest changes, updates, and information.
